A collision always leaves an impact
When our life lines up with the vision God has for us we will leave an impact
on the world
What can happen when a church collides with the vision God has set forth for
Collision of Perspective
A good name is better than fine perfume, and the day of death better than the day
of birth. 2 It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting,
for death is the destiny of everyone; the living should take this to heart.
3 Frustration is better than laughter, because a sad face is good for the heart.
4 The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the heart of fools is in the
house of pleasure. 5 It is better to heed the rebuke of a wise person than to listen to
the song of fools.
Jesus’ purpose was to die for the sin of the world
To complete a work is a lot better the to just start. (Think about your purpose)
The Intersection Where Miracles are Possible
Now when Jesus returned, a crowd welcomed him, for they were all expecting
him. 41 Then a man named Jairus, a synagogue leader, came and fell at Jesus’
feet, pleading with him to come to his house 42 because his only daughter, a girl
of about twelve, was dying. As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed
him. 43 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve
years, but no one could heal her. 44 She came up behind him and touched the
edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. 45 “Who touched me?”
Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding
and pressing against you.” 46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that
power has gone out from me.” 47 Then the woman, seeing that she could not go
unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she
told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. 48 Then he
said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”

Where Roads Collide
Remember: A collision always leaves an impact
When our life lines up with the vision God has for us, we will leave an impact
on the world
Look at the woman with the issue of blood. When her faith collided with Jesus,
the result was a Roller Coaster experience.
The Road That we all MUST travel
MATTHEW 27:59-60 NKJV
And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, 60 and
laid it in his new tomb which he had hewn out of the rock; and he rolled a large
stone against the door of the tomb, and departed.
MATTHEW 28:2-7 NKJ
And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended
from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. 3
His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. 4 And the
guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men. 5 But the angel answered
and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was
crucified. 6 “He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where
the Lord lay. 7 “And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead,
and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I
have told you.”
The Roller Coaster Experience
– Your life may seem to be taking lots of turns and twist right now, but hold on!
– Sometimes the very thing that we are called to do is so hard that we don’t want
the responsibility that it requires to be great.
– Our walk with Christ is like being on a roller coaster, its scary at first, but once you
get past the initial shock of what you’re about to do you realize that you have no
control and just prepare yourself for the big drop.
– The best way to enjoy this roller coaster called “life’ is with your hands up!!!
