Definition of CHANGE :to make or become different

-Are you walking with armor bearers or pall bearers?

-The company you keep needs to know who you are. They need to embrace your change. And hey some of them need to be CHANGED..

-There are some of us that are walking alone in a dangerous road and don’t even know it.

-There are thieves out here (and even in the church) who will rob you of your destiny.

 John 10:7-10

7 Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (more abundantly)

– There is life inside of CHANGED PEOPLE

The reason why He lets your enemies get closer to you is because this makes your anointing fresher.

The thief messed up.  He stripped, wounded and left you. but he left them half dead.

If you have a half left, you are still alive and can use what you have.

Jesus said, “You must be born again?” It is a spiritual rebirth. As we become children of God, He becomes our mother and father! We can receive from God a more complete nurturing, caring and sense of well being than any parent could ever give us.

Have you ever considered what you receive when you are born again?

When we are born-again we receive forgiveness, grace, blessing, a mission, approval, attention, and gods touch

Benefit 1 >>>God’s forgiveness

I John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Benefit 2 >>>God’s grace

Ephesians 2:4-9

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

Benefit 3 >>>God’s blessing

Psalms 1:1 -3

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

Benefit 4 >>>God’s mission

Ephesians 2:10

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Benefit 5 >>>God’s approval

Leviticus 26:9

I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you.

  • This is how God feels about the Living Room.

  • We are about to increase in numbers..

Benefit 6 >>>God’s attention

Psalms 139:1-10

O LORD, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD. You hem me in—behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.

Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me,

your right hand will hold me fast.

Benefit 7 >>>God’s touch

Matthew 8:3

Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cured of his leprosy.

Matthew 8:15

He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him.

Matthew 9:29

Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith will it be done to you”;

Matthew 17:7

But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid.”

Matthew 20:34

Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.

-Start to believe and accept all that God has for you as a BORN-AGAIN Child of God. Let him fix your flat!!! These are the benefits of CHANGE

-Substitute our lack with God’s love and sense of well-being by experiencing the presence of God.

-Having God living in us, is what makes us different. I’m not talking about some “new age” concept of high power or energy. I am talking about the abiding presence of God in the person of the Holy Spirit. When is the last time you really sensed that God lives in you?

**We can experience the love of God and His nurturing presence.

Ephesians 2:17-19

17And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. 18For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. 19So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,

1 Thessalonians 5:4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. 5 You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. 6 So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night.

            – it’s time for us to make a change. It won’t be easy.

-we have a different standard. We can’t sleep like others do

            – remember “it’s not people call you it’s what you respond to”

8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. 11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

-we are children of the light so let’s act like it

-don’t lose who you are in what you are doing.

-we can’t act like the world and expect to be looked at as gods children. We must where one face! At school, at work, at church ect. ALL the time
