The God of No Limits
I Chronicles 4:9-10
9Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez,[a] saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.” 10Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.
1. Take off the labels (verse 9)
•His mother had labeled him “pain, full of sorrow”
What you label or call yourself will determine your identity.
Your identity will determine whether your destiny will be full of limitation or full of potential.
2. Operate in the correct identity
•Jabez would have never asked God to expand his limits if he would have been operating out of the wrong identity (the identity given to him by his mother: HIS BOX)
•Jabez was disadvantaged, but not disqualified.
He qualified himself to experience God’s blessing when he became a man of honor and not of horror
He carried himself differently, because he saw himself differently
He was “more”
What makes a man or woman more?
3. You become more when you develop better CHARACTER
•Character does not come cheap, but the benefits are enormous
We read that “his mother named him”:
What have others named you: failure, fearful, dummy, incompetent . . .?
•Notice that he was marked from childhood
Some of you were marked by words and labels from childhood
Are you what circumstances and people say you are?
Start changing the way you talk about yourself.

4. Speak what God speaks
45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart[a] brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
Do you have a high or low expectation of what GOD can do in your life?
•The label we accept will determine the choices we make
•Your choices will determine your destiny
•The wrong labels can cause you to reduce your value
•Your value will determine your self-worth
1The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
•When you gave your life to Jesus, your name was changed… from pain to precious, from pain to prince, from pain to princess, from pain to purpose
•Since God is an overcomer, you are an overcomer
5. Speak the language of the Kingdom (I Chronicles 4:10)
It is time to break words of negativity, doubt, unbelief and failure in our lives
•Don’t panic, but pray like a child of the king
•When you speak the language of the Kingdom, you remove barriers and move the boundaries
•You will speak from the abundance of your heart
To Change Your Words ²See Life Out of the Box scripture confession
Jesus had an abundant prayer life, because he had an abundant heart
•If you heart is small and empty, you will have small and empty prayers
•Stop binding your prayers with cords of doubt and limitation
The TLR Family Language Commitment:
